These terms of service apply to the use of the ShapeIQ app ("the app"), offered by Aly Sarwarzade ("we", "us"). By downloading and using the app, you agree to these terms.
ShapeIQ uses a photo you provide and some profile information (gender, height, weight, goal) to generate an AI-based estimate of your body shape in relation to your personal goal, including tips and a comparison with previous scans.
ShapeIQ is not a medical device and the results do not constitute medical diagnosis, medical advice, or treatment advice. The assessment is an AI estimate of your distance to your own goal, nothing more. If you have any doubts about your health, always consult a doctor or dietitian before making decisions based on the app.
The AI analysis is an automatically generated estimate and may contain inaccuracies. We strive to improve the quality of the analysis, but we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the results for any particular purpose.
ShapeIQ may offer paid features or subscriptions. These are handled through Apple's in-app purchase system and are subject to the App Store's terms. Prices, cancellation terms, and refund policies follow Apple's rules; for questions about an App Store payment, contact Apple Support. Once subscriptions are active, this will be clearly stated in the app before purchase.
How we handle your data and scan photos is described in our privacy policy. You can delete all your data at any time via Account → Delete all scans in the app.
All rights to the app itself (design, source code, ShapeIQ trademark, texts and illustrations) rest with us. You are granted a limited, personal, and non-transferable right to use the app for your own use.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or damages arising from reliance on the app's results, including decisions about nutrition, exercise, or health made based on the app. Use of the app is at your own risk.
You can stop using the app at any time by removing it from your device. We may modify, suspend, or terminate access to (parts of) the app, for example in case of misuse or discontinuation of service.
We may update these terms when the app or our services change. The date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last updated.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be resolved as much as possible through mutual consultation.
